A Post of Thanks this holiday season.

So Much Thanks.

Well, for starters, the student show at PCC has three of my pieces this time in their winter show.

https://i0.wp.com/pulse.pasadena.edu/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/Expired.jpegJuror Bernard Cooper was the juror for the show and reviewed over 350 wonderful student works. The opening reception and award ceremony was Tuesday, November 18.You can see a list of the winners on the gallery facebook. The exhibition will run through Jan. 30. The Art Gallery will be closed for the winter break beginning Dec. 8 and will reopen on Jan. 12, 2015, the first day of Spring Semester.

Also, I was interviewed for an article written / , and it included a photo of my piece, Expired, that won an award. Thanks PCC

Also, I have a new website started. WWW.ArtistGinaM.com.  It is powered bt WIX and is so much easier than the old one. I will keep the old one up as an archive of all things past and artsy of mine but I’m movin’ on, trying to keep integrating social media into what I do. Thanks WIX.

Also there is new work popping out of the kiln all the time around here. My series, Lost not Forgotten, grows every week with the addition of fresh ceramic treasures hot from the kiln. Again, thanks for the great ceramics class with Keiko Fukazawa at PCC.

So even during this time of year, when it gets so crazy, remember there is always a moment to be thankful.

Back to posting once again…

Shadow artistOkay, I tried to keep up the calendar of events here, with some laps and gaps in things, but it’s mostly there. As far as the studio projects go, I am moving in high gear now that the construction is done on the storage sheds/work space. I’ll post pictures of them sometime soon.

The creative projects in the works are two mod chairs found on the side of the road getting a make-over, a new large crazy doll painting, and lots of ceramic sculpture. So keep checking back for photos and updates as I progress and find a way to work blogging into my schedule.

The Brand41 group provided a few photos of my  dress form piece “What are Little Girls Made Of” on exhibit  at the Burbank Creative Arts Center in October 2012. The art here was very eclectic and fun to experience. Thank you for the opportunity.
